Bookworm

Lately i've been buying and reading books left and right. I think I must have at least 500$ worth of books in my Amazon shopping cart. I own quite a lot of books, but only keep the ones that will bring back good memories, or that I will one day want to pick up and read again. Someday I wish to have a library in my house... or at least a REALLY big books shelf. I feel that not only is it inspiring to read riveting books, but it also inspires me to be surrounded by them.

Right now i'm reading Devotion by Dani Shapiro. It's a slow read but quite enjoyable. I don't think i'd ever be quite good at doing a book review... so don't expect me to start a book club or anything. :) I tend to be quite private and I feel that books will hit you on a personal level, and certain pieces might speak to me and mean nothing to someone else.

Something I did want to share with you, and one of my next purchases, is this collection of Penguin Classics. I'm not really a classic book reader, but sometimes during a dry spell i'l pick one up and see what the fuss is about. This collection not only holds some great reader history, it also looks fantastic. I mean, the classic cloth covered books would look good on anyones book shelf. Averaging about 15$ a book, it's a great start to anyones collection.

I love the classic, old book feeling of this collection. The colours give off a retro vibe.

The library below is a dream. I'd be in heaven if I had this little retreat in my home. PERFECTION!

I seriously wouldn't change anything about this space. I love the colour of the bookshelf with the white trim.
